Snow Day

Lubbock doesn't get snow very often; not real snow. But they do get snow days a lot because every time it snows, it's a snow day! And strangely it always happens on the days Justin is supposed to be taking a test. Each snow day in Lubbock is also magical and a moment to make the most of.
Landon loved the snow and being outside, but it was a little cold (like 15 degrees cold). To keep snow from filling his fake booties and so he didn't fall face down in the snow, I stuck him in this bucket. He was happy for a while in it.
Riggs came over to play and him and Matthew stayed outside for almost 3 hours!

It has become a tradition to make a snow hill in our backyard. The boys love it and always have a blast for days until it melts away. It was a hard task today though because the snow was so powdery. But Justin pulled it off.
Matthew practices his winter olympic skills : )

These two little buddies only have a few months left together. Sad to think about but we are enjoying the time we have. Thus the little photo shoot we put them through!

Koyle didn't stay out for very long earlier in the afternoon, but after a long nap he was ready to play on the mountain!

I just love those baby cheeks, and he is so cute in a hat! Landon loved being outside and cried when I made him come back in. Soon enough he will be big enough to play with his brothers. For now he is still my sweet baby cheeks!

I love rosy cold baby noses and cheeks! So sweet! Wow, you down in tejas have officially gotten WAY more snow than we did this winter! We got about one centimeter that lasted maybe 6 hours. There's something about kids and snow. And dads and kids and snow. :)

I think Justin having a test on snow days is more of a reflection as to how often Justin has a test than anything...

So cute that Landon loved being outside. He's lucky he even got to go out in the first place ;)

THREE HOURS?!? That's awesome. Those boys are so cute together.
