Matthew and I had this conversation this morning:
Carissa: Matthew, do you know why we shouldn't wake up at 6 a.m.?
Matthew: ay
Carissa: Why? Because it's really early
Matthew: Oh
I wish you all could have been there to hear it. He looked up at me and in his cutest little voice said, "oh" as if to say "well, I didn't know, thanks for telling me." Precious. Justin and I both laughed really hard.

Yay for communicating!!!! It's super fun when they can talk back to you (until they are 13 and then, well, . . . you wish for those cute days back!
