Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year...especially because Grammi Tami and Grandpa Jay came to celebrate with us! The kids had a VERY hard time deciding, and sticking to an idea of what they wanted to be for Halloween. We finally settled on: The S'more, the doctor, and the giraffe. Koyle kept changing his mind about what he wanted to be so we had Justin dress up with him to keep him focused and excited about the costume we chose. And he always tells me that when he grows up he's going to be a doctor so he can go to work with daddy!
Our Halloween fun started on Monday when we went to a Halloween party at the Rynearson's. Koyle pooped his pants and we had to leave early, so only the boys' pumpkins got carved that night.

Our pumpkin didn't get carved until 10 o'clock the night before Halloween. But we got it done and it turned out pretty awesome. Definitely our best pumpkin to date.

Then on Wednesday we had our trunk-or-treat. Complete with hot dog dinner, carnival games inside, and then 15 minutes of chaos in the parking lot : ) The boys got a TON of candy and had a good time. Good thing I took pictures that night because I forgot my camera on Halloween and didn't get any pictures the actual day.
And we can't forget about the best part of the Halloween season-the pumpkin patch! We found this cute place this year. It is a church that sets up their land like a pumpkin patch, even though the pumpkins are already picked. So we got to wander around through all the pumpkins and choose the very best one. Pumpkin patches are one of my weaknesses in life. I always tell Justin that someday when I grow up and have some land I am going to do a little local pumpkin patch every year. Maybe it will really happen.....
**Also of note, we had fun taking Grandma and Grandpa fishing even though we didn't catch anything. We also played too many board games to count and ate yummy food. Thanks for coming to visit!
